Computer Studies

computer The tentacles of Computer Studies reach out into all subjects in the school and indeed connect the children with the reality of the technological age. Our emphasis is on pupils becoming computer literate. We have 15 computers in the classroom. The content is curricular in focus. We are connected to the Internet , which we use for research and to communicate with other schools in the world. During the last two years we have swopped information and stories with HS Golling School in Austria. We constantly look at new software and acquire what seems valuable for the children. We update Encarta and Grolier Reference CD's yearly. One of the new software programmes that we bought this year is a 3-D modeling and design programme.
